The 80/560 ED apochromat impresses with its good color correction, which is achieved with the special FPL-51-ED element from Ohara, Japan. In combination with the solid mechanics, the apo offers a very good basis for observation and astrophotography. The lens is multi-coated and adjustable on all glass / air surfaces. The metal tube ensures rapid cooling.

The ED apochromat is ideal for astrophotography. We recommend the TS Optics Reducer Flattener Photoline 0.8x for image field correction. This corrector shortens the focal length to 448mm. The speed increases to f / 5.6. With a working distance of 55mm from the T2 thread connection, you can easily connect all common DSLR and CCD cameras. The combination of the ED-Apo and these correction optics is ideal for DSLR cameras with sensors in APS-C format or for CCD cameras with sensors up to 30 millimeters in diameter.
