The telescope is equipped with a three-lens, apochromatic objective . A fluorite glass lens is used to enable the highest possible color correction right into the visual peripheral areas . This is not only visible with very critical objects, but the difference can be clearly seen in photographic work with digital camera systems. All lenses are in the stable frame with an air gapinstalled and provided with a very high-quality "STM" coating for an even better contrast. The inner wall of the tube is also elaborately equipped with lens hoods and has a matt finish, so that there are practically no disruptive reflections. Together with an image field corrector, this telescope can also be used as an excellent astro lens. 6 lens hoods ensure very good stray light suppression and thus maximum contrast.
